Well the first film was about race and the second was about class, so the cloud probably contains… sexuality?
Oh. Let me get in there…

Lol, thank you. I don’t get the hate for Us, and why be so mean to Peele for one movie he didn’t even get nominated for?
Critics loved it (it’s 81 on MC, Get Out is 85). I agreed with the critics who put it in their top films of the year. It was more thematically rich than Get Out + far more ambiguous. Overall a more ambitious swing from Peele than Get Out, for me personally. I loved it.
I think Peele wants to keep outdoing himself & doing different things. He probably doesn’t think as simplistically as “this is about race” and “this is about class” lol. I’m excited. Good for Keke Palmer!

February 13, 2022 at 6:51 am #1204799432Jordan Peele puts out a movie and I will watch on the day it releases here. So, so, so excited. May this be Keke Palmer’s big moment. She deserves it.

As much I like Keke Palmer, this trailer does nothing for me personally. It feels more like a teaser.

February 13, 2022 at 6:57 am #1204799448I love Jordan Peele, I will definitely be seeing this in the theater. Get Out was a masterpiece and I’m not sure where the hate for Us is coming from, considering it was very well-reviewed, well-acted and a box office smash.
Anyway, Jordan has his own fan following now who will show up for his movies and I love it. And I hope he continues to hire people like Daniel, Keke, Steven, Lupita…they are all such talented and likeable actors and deserve to be in more mainstream movies.
