Very intriguing if this is actually releasing this year. It has a possibility to crash the Oscars race this late, but without a festival run especially it would have to be a magnum opus box office behemoth of a film to find a path for winning Best Picture. When’s the last time a Dec/Jan release won?

November 4, 2022 at 7:55 pm #1205142005The screening was yesterday. 1 man wrote “Better than GLADIATOR. Joaquin Phoenix is at The Highest Level of Marlon Brando. Greatest movie.” I still think APPLE will release NAPOLEON this Late December probably this December 30th
Marlon Brando like Brando in Napoleon or Brando like his best in On the Waterfront and The Godfather?

It may be just to insist on the fact that Joaquin is one of the greatest, if not the greatest, of his generation like was Brando at his time. Which he is… Plus he has this charisma, this weirdness and imprevisibility Brando had. Heath Ledger was like that, god I miss him…

Probably, since both(NAPOLEON and Killers of the Flower Moon) cost so much money, APPLE is thinking more in money and not Oscars. The current plan is for both(NAPOLEON and Killers of the Flower Moon) to be releasing during the summer of 2023

I kind of like Midsomar. This movie sounds Weirder and Darker and More Extreme. DB is about “The Darkest and Weirdest Dreams”

Ridley Scott said “Joaquin Phoenix is The Greatest Actor I ever worked with”. Poor Tom Cruise, Harrison Ford, Leonardo DiCaprio, Christian Bale, Matt Damon, Anthony Hopkins, Russell Crowe, Michael Fassbender and Adam Driver

Since Ridley Scott is praising Joaquin Phoenix so Highly, I suppose Joaquin Phoenix could win his 2nd Best Actor Oscar for NAPOLEON

I cannot imagine what he would’ve say about River, lol. I was watching Running on Empty and is a shame he died so young, he was a better child actor than Joaquin and i love Joaquin but his brother would’ve been a great Jack Downson.
