Rated R by the MPAA
This doesn’t surprise me. All Quiet on the Western Front was also Rated R for “strong bloody war violence and grisly images.” Saving Private Ryan and 1917 were also both rated R. Ruimy’s source who saw a screening of Napoleon has said that Ridley Scott’s “staging of battle scenes on a near-cosmic scale is mind-blowing.”

ReplyCopy URLMarch 15, 2023 at 5:09 am #1205352723I hope Joaquin nails it. He’s DDL-esque. If it works there should be a lot of craft noms maybe wins plus actors.
Fingers crossed. Hopefully Kubrick would be proud.ReplyCopy URLThe Sunne in Splendour.
