    While compiling my list for BD, I realised that it is not a shortage of good quality direction by women but it’s the laziness of the Academy to honor smaller less known films made by women.

    I mean if the Academy was more inclusive to smaller films, Moorhouse and Coppola would have definitely been nominated.
