    The first thing I observe was how much this category favours honouring long working actors.

    All Winners except Plummers were in BP nominees. The only person who was in a BP winner was Mahershala Ali and both times he won,his film also won (Moonlight and Green Book).

    All I know is J.K Simmons, Brad Pitt, and Daniel Kaluuya 100% deserved their wins and were amongst my favorite performers for those particular years.

    It’s not perfect, but that’s actually a really decent group of winners. If only Fassbender/Abdi would have won over Leto…

    Simmons, Plummer, Ali and Pitt are iconic wins.
