The good thing about Soho (commercially) is that it cost $40 million to make so even if it opens at 5 million in the US (during a pandemic) it’s not going to be a massive flop like The Last Duel.

Their marketing expense is insane though….

Anyway…Stephen King liked Last Night in Soho

Soho projections are starting to pick up, I hope it can win the weekend (if Dune doesn’t do it anyway)

Dune will definitely win the weekend, even in a worst case scenario.

Their distribution team should be fired right now lol. How you get less theatres than Antlers is beyond me

I enjoyed this and would definitely encourage others to go see it. I know Anya Taylor-Joy is the “it” girl right now and will be the one the studio would push for awards consideration, but I’d honestly give the Supporting Actress nom to the late Diana Rigg, who was a scene stealer and has a great scene in the second half of the film.

Officially my start to Oscar season (haven’t seen any of the other big films in contention yet).

    I’d give it to both.

Taika Waititi, Bryan Fuller, Rian Johnson, Brett Goldstein and James Gunn are some of the people I’ve seen praising the movie. Waititi tweeted a rave.

This is going to be one of those movies that makes moviegoers to question what the hell are critics thinking. Especially why this has a worse reception than Free Guy or Shang Chi.

Stephen King and Hideo Kojima (Martin Scorserse/Steven Spielberg of Video Game) praised it as well
