Lead or Supporting No. 31: Hailee Steinfeld in True Grit

Welcome back to another round of lead or supporting. This time we have Hailee Steinfeld and her wonderful work in True Grit. In my opinion I find it absolutely ridiculous that’s she was nominated in supporting. I understand that getting child actors nominated is easier in the supporting categories but she was %100 the lead even more so than Jeff Bridges and should have been in the right category. What do you all think?

Fraud or not, she should’ve won Supporting Actress. It’s one of the best single acting I’ve ever seen, and being a child, which is even more impressive.
