I would nominate him for Titanic and give him his first Oscar for Django Unchained.

I’d like to play Oscar butterfly effect for a moment

    Scenario 1

    • Leo is nominated for Django instead of Waltz
    • Leo wins as the only non-winner in a group of four winners

    Scenario 2

    • McConaughey wins Sup. Actor in 2012 for Magic Mike (against for four previous winners)
    • Leo wins for Wolf of Wall Street against McConaughey for Dallas Buyers

Out of his nominations which ones do you think Mr. DiCaprio should have won for and would you have given him any other nominations?

I would have given him two wins:
Lead: The Wolf of Wall Street
    Supporting: What’s Eating Gilbert Grape?

I would have also nominated him for:
    Titanic
    Catch Me if You Can
    Th Departed
    Revolutionary Road
    Django Unchained

Ralph Fiennes should have won not DiCaprio in 94!

He should have been nominated and won for Catch Me If You Can!

What a career though. Greatest of his generation. He’s most definitely my favorite actor ever.

I’d say The Wolf of Wallstreet

Leo didn’t deserve to be nominated for The Revenant.

He would’ve been a perfect winner for The Departed, and deserved nominations for The Aviator, The Wolf of Wall Street, Titanic and What’s Eating Gilbert Grape.

The Wolf of Wall Street is the right combination where he delivered the best nominated performance, denies at least one Oscar to Dallas Buyers Club, and was a memorable career peak.

    For Your Consideration:

    Best Picture: Wolfwalkers

    Best Animated Feature: Wolfwalkers

Not Gilbert Grape for sure. Ralph Fiennes was robbed of that Oscar.

But I think that Leo should have won lead for The Departed and The Wolf of Wall Street, and supporting for Django Unchained.

Hmmm I am clearly in minority here when it comes to DiCaprio. Though he is very talented, he is also overrated. He has been miscast in several prestige projects because of his stardom. To Wolf of Wallstreet and The Revenant are the only mature roles he can pass for a man

I also believe that Dicpario is getting a second Oscar in the future like in ca in 20 years time

    Whats Eating Gilbert Grape?
    Wolf of Wall Street
    The Revenant

3 noms/1 win for The Revenant

I would have given him 2 Oscars for “The Aviator” and “The Revenant.” I also definitely would have at least nominated him for “Titanic,” which I know he’s moved onto other types of roles, but still remains my favorite performance of his.
