Still rooting for Wasikowska. I thought she was going to be an indiedarling!
Stewart has done marvelous and getting rid of the Twilight ghost
I am not a huge fan of Emma Stone.
Blake Lively will get a late career rise. And she can bank movie as someone mention here when she is in good movie and leading it
Rebecca Hall is underrated. Looking forward to see Passing
Carey Mulligan is the most talented of them all
ReplyCopy URLFebruary 23, 2021 at 3:32 pm #1204057539Rebecca Hall: She should have a bigger career, she is extremely talented.
Mia Wasikowska: She had a good career at the beginning of the decade, but she needs a comeback.
Kristen Stewart: She managed to build good filmography after the end of the Twilight franchise.
Carey Mullingan: One of the best of her generation, after a decade of building solid filmography, will finally receive a second nomination.
Amanda Seyfried: She never fully reached her potential, maybe that will change after Mank.
Emma Stone: She managed to build a good filmography since 2014 and won an Oscar.
Anna Kendrick: She wastes her potential with mediocre films, but she has had a good number of box office hits.
Evan Rachel Wood: It’s not that relevant in the cinema, but it’s doing well on TV.
Abbie Cornish: I don’t follow her career.ReplyCopy URLLetterboxd: https://letterboxd.com/IsabelaOlivie/
February 23, 2021 at 3:48 pm #1204057558Blake Lively doesn’t have a lot of hit movies but she is nonetheless halfway to being a household name. Gossip Girl success + her marriage + fashion and society presence have kept her relevant.

ReplyCopy URLFebruary 23, 2021 at 4:31 pm #1204057620Not gonna lie, the current generation of actresses (late teens to early twenties) are pretty boring lol. Not saying we don’t have some really talented girls, but none of them feel like movie stars. Maybe Zendaya is on her way to become one, and maybe Saoirse is on her way to become a Blanchett/Winslet type of thespian but that’s it.
Like, where is the controversy, scandals, feuds, trend-setters, public obsession… none of that anymore.

Was their really of any controversy, sandals or feuds with the Millenial actresses? I guess Bella Thorne is the closet thing to that amongst the Gen Z actresses.

Chloe Grace Moretz feuded with Kardashians lol.
Florence, Anya and Elle also could become Winslet/Blanchett type of thespian.
Zendaya is heavily helped with her fame from Disney and happen to doesnt suck at acting like half of Disney Channel alumni lmao

ZendayaFebruary 24, 2021 at 9:35 am #1204058821Are Zendaya and Elle Fanning really promising young rising actress’ of the moment when they’re already having similar careers that Jennifer Lawrence and Saoirse Ronan had in 2010?
Michaela Coel however. Now that’s someone who definitely would be on a cover like this. In fact she’s already appearing on covers like these right now lol.
