Loathe.

This is dullest Best Picture winner I’ve ever saw. How did this won BP? Seriously, how?!?!

Reds, a much better film that actually changelles its audience and brings something that matters, won Supporting Actress, Director and Cinematography, meaning it had support from the Academy, would’ve a much better winner than this.

It's about the chaotic editing in Moulin Rouge!

If the entire movie was shot like the first five minutes, I could see it winning BP. But it’s not. Most of the movie is just dull.

Love. It’s an unjustly maligned historical drama. Really good story about friendship and triumph. And to this very day (40 years later) its score is STILL one of the most easily recognizable film scores ever.

I voted LOVE because it truly is a lovely movie even if it is a bit stuffy.

Having said that, ATLANTIC CITY or REDS should’ve won….but CHARIOTS was a very solid third and not a horrible win.
