@wolfali do you know if SAG voters have received digital or physical screeners yet for the film?
Also, has anyone seen any FYC ads yet for “Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom”?

Physical and yes they’ve been sent (if images from Twitter are to be believed). I believe Luca shared them.
I have seen FYC Ads online (but I can’t embed them as they are pop up ads).

Great! I know Netflix is usually very diligent about their campaigning. I just hadn’t seen anything.

The THR Roundtable discussion for actors dropped. I hope Viola is apart of the actress roundtable. Mainly because she’s such an eloquent speaker, and she has such a presence about her.

That shit doesn’t matter to them. See Lupita losing to J-Law.

M, I think Somenelikeme was zeroing in on the Best Actess categories at the Golden Globes. Off the top of my head, I can at least think of: Whoopi Goldberg, Jennifer Hudson, Mo’Nique, Octavia Spencer, Viola Davis, and Regina King. Far better track record than in Actress-Drama where there’s only Whoopi. Lol

Goldberg and Bassett both won the lead actress categories at the Globes which says more about them than the Academy overall.
