Leo’s not winning another acting Oscar. At best he’ll Clooney it with a win for producing.

Leo is one of the biggest actors in the world and has been since the 90s there’s no way that he doesn’t.

    Poor Hilary…

For being a really an average actress with limited range and zero mass appeal in almost every genre of cinema, she had survived in a good way, and yet, she will be in Oscar history for good or bad.

A human being born between the year of 1900 and 2000 who has never been in my living room will win an Oscar.

I'm not perfect, but I keep trying.

He won an Oscar on narrative not performance. DiCaprio hasn’t been stellar in a long time.

He was stellar….in The Wolf of Wall Street. He gets buzz for the wrong performances sometimes.

And yes, just because he’s one of the biggest doesn’t guarantee a second win.

    New post, more to come.

    1) Amy Adams will finally win an Oscar, and then fade in the background for a bit as she moves towards the crime thriller genre.

    2) Nicole Kidman will be nominated one more time, and then fade in the background for a bit as she transitions from younger leading roles to older supporting roles.

    3) Kate Winslet will not be nominated again.

    4) Gal Gadot will be nominated.

    5) Rosamund Pike, Margot Robbie, and Saoirse Ronan will encounter a major uptick in their careers as opportunities for roles open due to Kidman aging and Winslet’s career decline. All three of them will become Oscar winners during this period.

    6) Jessica Chastain, Bryce Dallas Howard, and Isla Fisher will also encounter a major uptick in their careers as opportunities for roles open due to Adams shifting towards the crime thriller genre. Both Dallas Howard and Fisher will receive their first nominations during this period.

This entire post is just weird and wrong. But most of all, Gadot will not come anywhere near the Oscars.

    Let me add to that.

    7) Pauly Shore will be nominated for playing Richard Simmons.

Just because he is one of the greatest actors in the world does not mean he will win a second Oscar someday. It took YEARS until he finally beat one and it was an Oscar of consolation, he will probably be nominated more times, but if he wins a second Oscar, it will probably be only in 10/15 years.

Ageism is an irrelevancy in art house / independent productions. Nicole Kidman and Julianne Moore will forever reign dominate in those circles. So leading nominations won’t be out of reach because they aren’t booking them they’ll be harder to get because the projects themselves will be too off putting for the respectable prestige Oscar voter.

Winslet will remain relevant to awards bodies because of the impact she’s already made.

All other actresses you mentioned are too vulnerable to count as viable for the long haul.
