Matching Up Nominees

Based on ENGLAND’s suggestion that we should match up some contenders, I decide to create this thread.

Basically we just pick old acting nominees from different years and put them together ranking ’em.

Let’s also avoid category fraud. If you gonna put Rooney Mara from Carol, per example, put her with another LEAD performances. Boderline performances such as Jennifer Hudson in Dreamgirls, it’s up to you.

I’ll start:

Meryl Streep in Silkwood
Gena Rowlands in A Woman Under the Influence
Bette Davis in Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?
Nicole Kidman in Rabbit Hole
Renée Zellweger in Chicago
