Acting oscars
Alan Arkin LMS. I ADORED his perf.
Octavia Spencer TH. She was the very best that film had to offer (except seeing the great Cicely Tyson)
Miyoshi Umeki Sayonara.
Adorable. Like so many of my elder relatives.Reese Witherspoon WtL
Her characterization of the late June Carter is spot on. And no lip-syncing.We all have examples of this n’est ce pas?

I should watch it again but it did leave a good taste in my mouth
Also I fucking loved King Richard

I agree with this. Reminds me to mention AVATAR and Greenbook as two favorites of mine. I’m long past caring what the smug haters think.

Loved Sam Rockwell in Three Billboards, Laura Dern in Marriage Story and everything about JoJo Rabbit
I also really liked Green Book and I came in fully prepared to hate on it.
