I always find these type of questions so difficult to answer because how do you define underrated in the current scheme of things? Do you just pick people who you think should universally be considered amongst the greatest actors working today or those who deserve much more recognition (both in terms of accolades, projects and/or overall industry and audience stature) than they have received. Because if it were the former someone like Sandra Huller would easily be on my list but can I really call her one of the most underrated actors when she has one of the most prolific and exciting filmographies of any actor on the European cinema scene at the moment?
