This nominations are pretty fuck*d up in my opinion.

    Worst Picture
Mommie Dearest (A mess, but an iconic one)
White Chicks (I LOVE this film)
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (It´s an entertaining action film)
Sex and The City 2 (A classic.Don´t fight me)

    Worst Actor
Jamie Dornan – Fifty Shades Of Grey (I mean he´s hot and perfect for the role.I´d give him the Oscar)

    Worst Actress
Faye Dunaway – Mommie Dearest (Nope, just no)
Cameron Diaz – What Happens In Vegas (I LOVE this film and Diaz gave a good comedic performance)
Jennifer Lawrence – Mother! (Probably their worst mistake)

Most of their nominations that are just blatantly “I hate women”.

    Jennifer Lawrence, mother!

    Sharon Stone, Basic Instinct

I’ll edit when I can think of more losses this “awards ceremony” has taken.

Fahrenheit 11/9. They just can’t hate that documentary for talking about a topic that features Donald and Melania Trump. Look, it received positive reviews from critics and it is said to be the director’s greatest movie so far. I think the Razzies should separate their own personal politics from naming every year’s worst film.

Helen Mirren, Winchester. The film may have sucked, but she didn’t deserve to be dragged under, especially when this year also had Elle Fanning in Mary Shelley, Amandla Stenberg in the Darkest Minds, and Ronda Rousey in Mile 22.

Dressed to Kill being nominated for worst director, actor (Michael Caine) and actress (Nancy Allen)—–that’s a pretty great movie.

Shelley Duvall worst actress for The Shining–nah. She was awesome.

I recently watched Dressed to Kill again and it’s such a great movie. I do not understand any of the nominations this received. Nancy Allen is an 80s queen nobody knows existed.

Mommie Dearest is pretty good and Dunaway does what is expected of her. She comes in 2nd in my line-ups.

Cher in Burlesque? Not only was she amazing but the real insult is that she was degraded to a supporting nomination.

Jennifer Lawrence performance in mother! was better than some actresses nominated that year for Best Actress at the Oscars.

The absolute worst and most dumbfounding Razzie nomination all time, in my opinion, is easily Harvey Keitel for Worst Supporting Actor in The Last Temptation Of Christ. If anyone can defend that nomination, please tell me why his performance is Razzie-worthy, because I don’t get it. At all. He should have gotten an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor. Ditto for Willem Dafoe in Best Actor.

Also, Jennifer Lawrence and Darren Aronofsky were both unfairly nominated for Mother! Yes, I get the movie is not most people’s cup of tea, given its F grade on CinemaScore, but come on! At least there was real filmmaking effort going on here. And I’d even argue Lawrence’s performance is actually better than her Oscar-winning performance in Silver Linings Playbook (cough cough Jessica Chastain was robbed that year for Zero Dark Thirty cough cough)

While I still haven’t seen War Of The Worlds, I know a lot of people hate the fact that Tom Cruise got a Worst Actor nomination for it, and many of them think he got nominated only because of his then-recent history of bizarre behavior, like jumping on Oprah’s couch and then arguing about psychiatry with Matt Lauer on The Today Show.

Stanley Kubrick for Worst Director, The Shining (1980)

    That can’t be possibly true.

Their motivation seem to be trash celebrities and big stars that didn’t give their best performance just for hype…
