ReplyDecember 7, 2022 at 8:16 pm #1205182525Prediction:
Tar named best film
the other nine movies in the top 10
The Banshees of Inisherin
Nope
Top Gun Maverick
Everything Everywhere All At Once
The Fabelmans
Babylon
The Whale
Women Talking
The Northman
National Board tends to have more populist tastes than individual critics lists. Not quite as populist as AFI’s list though.

In 2021 they released the results at 1:00 p.m. EST. I don’t know if it will be the same time this year.

December 8, 2022 at 1:20 am #1205182718I’m really curious which animated movie National Board of Review will choose as Best Animated Feature…
My instinct is that it will be Turning Red, just because they seem to default to Disney sometimes, like with Encanto last year.
I don’t think it will be Marcel the Shell with Shoes On, that seems like something only NYFCC would award.
