If I’m not mistaken, Cate Blanchett is the first person to sweep the Trifecta twice.
Meryl Streep did it first with Kramer vs Kramer and Sophie choice for supporting and leading. Morre accurate to say cate swept trifecta for best actress first

The way this is already aging. The tank. 💀🤡

Daniel Day-Lewis for “My Left Foot” & “There Will Be Blood,” so it’s not just women who’ve accomplished this feat.

They are large and somewhat influential groups of critics. Separately, they don’t mean all that much, but winning all three, as was the case for Cate Blanchett, means a lot. But they are not more important than industry precursors.

Feels like a possibility. I think there’s mounting interest from critics in trying to push TAR as something worthy of Best Picture and not just a locked nominee.
