Lin-Manuel Miranda is set to direct a film adaptation of Jonathan Larson’s cult Off-Broadway Musical, Tick, Tick…Boom!, for Netflix. Steven Levenson is writing the screenplay, and Andrew Garfield is apparently the top choice to star.

I was excited at Garfield joining this project, but a bit disappointed in Hudgens being confirmed. It seems like such an uninspired/lazy choice after Grease Live!, Rent: Live, etc..

After production previously had to pause earlier this year due to COVID-19, Lin-Manuel Miranda just revealed that principal photography has finally wrapped up.

That's a PICTURE WRAP on #TickTickBoomMovie.
