Amy Adams will be 48 years old in 2022. Hollywood is very cruel to aging women, so Amy Adams could have very sad problems in her career in the coming years.

She might but Julianne Moore won an Oscar for the first time at 54, Renee Zellweger won at 50, and Frances McDormand won twice in her 60s. Olivia Colman’s roles seem to be getting more interesting as she ages. Society is changing and Hollywood is also.

I hope. That could be more exceptions. The rule still is Hollywood is very cruel to aging women and Hollywood always prefers men

Regarding Hollywood’s treatment of women, I’m pretty sure Adams is more concerned with equal pay than if a role will get her a statue.

Did someone in here say Amy Adams needs this movie more than Blunt? The woman has 5 Oscar nominations (some undeserved) and Blunt 0. Adams doesn’t need any more opportunities than she’s already been given lmao

    FYC:

Swinton, Weerasethakul Memoria, (Best Actress, Director)
Efira, Rampling, Wilson Benedetta (Best Actress, Supporting Actress/Actor)
    Rapace Lamb (Best Actress)
Stewart, Hawkins, Spall Spencer (Best Actress, Supporting Actress/Actor)

She deserves all her 6 nominations. In fact, many feel that she should be an 8 time nominee by now and she should have been nominated for Big Eyes and Arrival. Please take a seat.

$100 Million Budget, Almost 50% of the Budget gone for the cast alone.

Not that I hate it, In fact this whats made this even more exciting. Nolan always land A-list ensembles for his movies.

Best Director: Edgar Wright, Guillermo Del Toro, Jane Campion
Best Picture: Nightmare Alley, The Power of the Dog
Best Actress: Kristen Stewart, Thomasin McKenzie, Rooney Mara, Tessa Thompson

Best S. Actress: Cate Blanchett, Diana Rigg, Anya Taylor Joy
Best S. Actor: Kodi Smit McPhee, Willem Dafoe, Richard Jenkins

Will this be the first Nolan movie to use a lot of CGI? I know he’s used CG before but he prides himself on practical effects and he can’t just drop an actual atomic bomb for “realism”.

Nolan doesn’t write good roles for women. No woman is winning for being in a Nolan movie. I’d be shocked if Nolan ever gets an actress a Oscar nomination.

You’re right and you should say it.

I said before that Nolan isn’t the director you go for to win actors an Oscar. The last guy to win literally had to die for that to happen. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have even been nominated and Brolin would’ve been the winner that year.

The way he will flop again, each new film is worse than the previous one.
