Lindelof is co-writing the film alongside Justin Britt-Gibson, and Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy is directing. There’s been no news about cast members so far. Regarding sequel trilogy characters: John Boyega recently said-while promoting TWK-he wasn’t interested in returning to Star Wars. I hope other actors-Daisy, Naomi and Kelly- return. “Set in the sequel trilogy era” does potentially open up who they can use if it’s sideways and not after, I think?
