I’m not crazy enough (yet) to actually predict any of these but:

    – PYW goes 3/4, only losing Director to Chloé Zhao
    – Olivia Colman wins for The Father
    – Andy Samberg and Palm Springs win the Comedy prizes, leaving only Bakalova for Borat to win

Not that I think it’s especially wild at all but I guess my big NGNG prediction this year is that all of the acting winners on both film and TV will be white. And it’s going to start a revolution.

I’ve been reading the various trade papers Should Win/Will Win lists and although most are in agreement, some interesting will win’s:

Pike for Best Comedy Actress from USA Today (this would make me happy)

Kirby for Best Drama Actress from the Guardian.

Hopkins for Best Drama Actor from The Hollywood Reporter.Boseman seems to be the favorite on most lists. Anyways – fun reading all the should/will lists this morning.

    I’m wild and predicting:

Andra Day for The United States vs. Billie Holiday (not happening, but a guy can dream).

Helena Zengel for The News of the World (Close and Colman will split)

    Wolfwalkers for Best Animated Film.

I have indeed seen a lot of Pike upset predictions in publications.

    As it should!

That is in fact a very wild prediction… No way Helena wins over Close, Colman, and Seyfried.

Mank has a high chance to upset in best screenplay. I think it’s currently in second place. Don’t be surprised if it does win, although I’m not predicting it.
