My very unpopular opinion:

Why bring it up? She’s in The Batman. The film is a hit. She’s getting good reviews. She gets the last laugh. Zoe is the Biracial daughter of a rock star and famous actress. Her step father brought in a billion dollars for Warner. Imagine what darker skinned actresses without famous/rich parents have to deal with.

Yes, too urban is a f****** up. Whoever said it needs to be corrected and if not understanding the harm of the comment, must face consequences. But she out here looking for sympathy with a hit under her belt.

Does it matter if the film was mediocre or not? She was clearly affected by it.

I’m sorry, I didn’t read the full declaration. Yes, it’s a sad remark, and we all know what “urban” actually means. But sometimes things happen for a reason. I’m glad she landed the role in the new adaptation.
