Deserved 0 nominations, but given the ceremony as it was, I would have only given it a win for Production Design.April 19, 2020 at 1:57 pm #1203435755
Sally should have won over overrated McdormandApril 19, 2020 at 3:18 pm #1203435824
As much as I really liked the film and love seeing that a film like it could actually win, I still preferred THREE BILLBOARDS and LADYBIRD first.
I do think Guillermo del Toro deserved Director so he can have that win.
It also deserved its wins for Production Design and Score…and I would’ve thrown in a win for its Cinematography.
I think Michael Shannon deserved a nomination despite the fact it was a pretty one note character. He’s just such a compelling actor to me.
Hawkins not having an Oscar for this performance is a shame but I do support McDormand’s wins
