Non Oscar-Worthy Movies with Excellent Production Values

Tonight I was watching “Connie & Carla.” A pleasant, not great, not Oscar-worthy in the traditional sense movie, but the cinematography, by Oscar-nominated cinematographer, Richard Greatrex, was outstanding. So that got me thinking.

There have to be other movies, bad movies, far from Oscar-worthy, that have either fantastic sets or costumes or the editing is sublime, whatever. If you know of any such thing, please let me know. I’d love to hear what you think.

One catch: I would prefer it if the movies you name received 0 Oscar nominations.
