Forgive me if someone has mentioned this already but I had a look at this list again and why is Amy Adams missing?

FYC Emmys: "The Crown" in all categories, "I May Destroy You" in all categories, "It's a Sin" in all categories, "Small Axe" in all categories, Billie Piper ("I Hate Suzie"), Yvonne Strahovski ("Stateless") and Ruth Wilson ("His Dark Materials")

Again, not a fan of her and she wouldn’t even make my list, but come on.

A very political correct list. I cannot take this serious. Just cant.

Swinton, DDL, Ronan, Huppert, Deneuve, Song, Kidman on the list is a pleasure for my soul.

Close, Streep, Bale, Fassbender, Cotillard, Blanchett, Collette, Rampling, Tony Leung, Maggie Smith, Mirren, Dench, Mikkelsen, Wiig, Fiennes, Craig, Bardem, Cruz are too cool for them

And who is Rob Morgan? Never heard of him

Why is Nicole Kidman so high?

I hope this is about her weed scene in Eyes Wide Shut. Otherwise, refer to 2000-2004 and 2017-present.

Pantheon of acting: Uta / Elizabeth / Richard / Sandy (Virginia Woolf), Bibi / Liv (Persona), Sandrine (La Ceremonie), Brie (Short Term 12), Jodie (Silence of the Lambs), Jodie (Killing Eve), Nicole (The Others), Eva (Penny Dreadful), Timothée (CMBYN), Lupita (Us)

“Forced diversity”? Oh you’re one of those people who think that any non-cis/white/straight person included anywhere is pandering.

    FYC:

Best Director - Lee Isaac Chung (Minari), Darius Marder (Sound of Metal)

Lead Actor - Delroy Lindo (Da 5 Bloods), Mads Mikkelsen (Another Round), Riz Ahmed (Sound of Metal)

Supporting Actor - Paul Raci (Sound of Metal)

Supporting Actress - Youn Yuh-jung (Minari)

    DiCaprio’s 21st Century work:
    Gangs of New York
    Catch Me If You Can
    The Aviator
    The Departed
    Blood Diamond
    Revolutionary Road
    Shutter Island
    Inception
    J. Edgar
    Django Unchained
    The Great Gatsby
    The Wolf of Wall Street
    The Revenant
Once Upon A Time In Hollywood

And no Bale, Hardy, Gyllenhaal, Blanchett, Portman, Adams???
But Mahershala Ali is on the list for only two “just fine” performances in Moonlight (he wasn’t even the best thing in it) and Green Book??? And who is Rob Morgan???
This is clearly something planned by agents, managers, and publicists, or whomever, to pathetically try to raise their clients’s profiles in the industry.

No one will ever take this list seriously.

Emmys FYC | Alan Tudyk in “Resident Alien” | Billie Piper in “I Hate Suzie” | Ego Nwodim in “Saturday Night Live” | Kaley Cuoco in “Harley Quinn” | “Dickinson” | “P-Valley” | “Pose” | “Superstore”

How did Keanu Reeves make it to the list of the greatest actors of the 21st century? What madness is this?

Dicaprio was rightly left off the list. Good for Huppert though!

Emmy FYC!!: Chloe Sevigny (We Are Who We Are), MJ Rodriguez (Pose), Billy Porter (Pose), Emma Corrin (The Crown), Elisabeth Moss (The Handmaid’s Tale), Maya Erskine (Pen15), Anna Konkle (Pen15), Naomi Ackie (Master of None), Thuso Mbedu (The Underground Railroad), Kate Winslet (Mare of Easttown), Michaela Coel (I May Destroy You)

I don’t think it’s forced diversity. It’s forced snobbery. The entire list is there to make them look high-brow and unpredictable. Even their choices of Jordan and McCarthy are there to make it look like they can be edgy even when choosing somebody more populist.

I mean even the choice of Gael Garcia Bernal over Adams and Streep is questionable. Like what has he done since the mid 00s apart from that weird Amazon comedy.

Bernal delivered one of the best I’ve seen in “Amores Perros”. He’s great and underrated!

Yeah I meant since the mid 2000s what has he done (I was acknowledging his work from then but what I was saying is I wouldn’t call him one of the greatest actors of the 21st century).

Hang on I had a look at this again to see if only Adams and Streep were missing but Cate Blanchett missing? Seriously? I mean she’s on lists of the greatest actors ever and is the closest an actor is going to get (along with Kidman) to being as well respected and a long lasting career as Meryl Streep.

    This list is a joke.
