Looks fun but not terribly scary or inspired. (Still, I’ll of course be there opening night.)

The film is so anticipated. I think $100 million seems a bit low. If they promote hard, and the reviews are pretty good, I’d say $200 million+ in North America, and $400 million+ Worldwide.

    Very bold prediction!!!!!

$125M or so sounds about right. Adjusted for inflation, H20 managed a little more than $100M with so-so reviews.

Honestly I don’t want it to become huge box office hit. Why? Because I want Laurie Strode to have her happily ever after. I want her to finally kill Michael. But if it becomes this massive box office hit then we’re gonna have sequel after sequel.

I think she might have signed a contract for only 1 film…

In a less biased showbiz, the score of this film would be in the conversation. It is one of the strongest and meanest I’ve ever heard. Carpenter and his team did great. This soundtrack elevated what could have been just another slasher. Such a pleasure to listen to it!

That was actually pretty good lmao, aside from Michael’s usual brief teleportation powers and the psychiatrist twist I really enjoyed it. All the call backs to the original made me smile :”) And the theme is just as tight 40 years later.
