Quentin Tarantino’s new film about Charles Manson has been adding members to the cast left and right ….
Leonardo Dicaprio – Rick Dalton
Margot Robie- Sharon Tate
Brad Pitt- Cliff Booth
Dakota Fanning – Squeaky Fromme
Al Pacino – MArvin Shwarz
Damian Lewis- Steven Mcqueen
Clifton Collins Jr
IF this is good do you see it getting any nominations ? I was happy to hear about Margot being in the movie but Sharon feel like a small role and Dakota as Squeaky has me very excited ….

I’m so excited for this the cast is excellent.June 8, 2018 at 10:13 am #1202561121
With a cast so stellar and a storyline that touches a nerve with a large chunk of the voters, this would have to be pretty damn miserably bad to not get any nominations.
If it’s on par with Tarantino’s better works, it could even be his ticket to Best Director and Best Picture – he has to be recognized at some point and it would make a lot of sense for that to happen with a movie about Hollywood lore.
Also, Pitt could get his long overdue recognition here, and I feel like Robbie will get a Supporting nod this year for Mary Queen of Scots but lose the award to Adams and then finally get her due here.
I am currently predicting nods in Picture, Director, Actor (DiCaprio), Screenplay, Cinematography, Editing and Score, and wins in Supporting Actress (Robbie) and Supporting Actor (Pitt).June 8, 2018 at 10:18 am #1202561124

I could see a world were it got two supporting actress nods … I think Fanning will have the better role

It’s set in the 60s so the sets will be good, so Production Design is obvious.June 9, 2018 at 2:22 am #1202561615
I’m not sure how this will be received. Some of the relatives of the victims are already upset that they are releasing it on the anniversary of the murders.June 9, 2018 at 6:24 am #1202561639
Dakota’s role has me saying the Queen is coming back. Just hope it isn’t small.
