Expecting Grammy/Tony/Emmy-winning multi-talented Cynthia Erivo to prevail. Zellweger looks like a high Bridget Jones nowadays and won’t deliver as Garland. N’yongo is ofc not winning. Adams will get snubbed. No one else will be strong enough.

Lol I have to agree, I can’t take Zellweger seriously (why people thought she was going to get major wins off those pictures is beyond me). The King stans were saying that Adams was going to get snubbed this past year and look what happened, so I highly doubt she pulls another Arrival. Erivo is the favorite at the moment but the director’s filmography isn’t promising.

^Amy only managed to get nominated on her own for her breakthrough turn in Junebug. She’s always coattailed from that point on, hence her Arrival snub. She’ll have trouble getting nominated unless it ends up being her Revenant.

Considering that green book won best picture being directed by one of the farrelly brothers, I think Kasi lemmons’s harriet has an fair shot.

You might need to look at Alfre Woodard ‘Clemency’ because several critics are really liking her performance in that film.

Alfre Woodard is what I absolutely need in the category to take the Oscars seriously this year.

If she does good/get a lot of nominations by the critics then I could see her getting nominated at the major movie award shows.

N-Port seems to deliver quite a performance. When is this out?

Also, does anyone know if and when the Lee Miller movie with Kate Winslet is coming out? It was supposed to have been shot last year but I haven’t heard anything about it for a long time.
