    Oscars 1999 would indicate movies that were released in 1998, but since everyone is doing movies released in 1999 (and nominated in 2000 Oscars) I will do them as well. I will only nominate five per each category.

    I think Toy Story 2 deserved a slot in Best Picture.

    I dont’t have that many issues with this race. Mainly Cider House Rules being in BP and BD, I would replace that with Being John Malkovich and I don’t know maybe Fincher, Anderson and specially The Wachowkis for doing A LOT for future films.

    Since I never saw Tumbleweeds, why not replace McTeer with Witherspoon.

    And of course Michael Caine looses to Osment or Cruise.

    “1999 Oscars” means the 1999 films, that’s the right way to say it. It’s actually the wrong thing to say “1999 means the 1998 films”.
