Anyone know why All The Stars wasn’t performed?

I know Lamar refused, but that doesn’t mean they can’t have a perfromance anyway. Natalie Cole performed The Bodyguard songs because Whitney  was pregnant. Beyonce performed 3 songs one year. Couldn’t they get someone else to perform it?

Larson inspires such arrogance, especially after she won an Oscar. But she’s also so gorgeous at the same time that it balances it out.

The backstage interviews of the winners are great! Colman and Malek so far and I am looking forward to watching Regina King’s interview too! (:

And what I learned, GOLDEN GLOBES DO MATTER.

Darling, they literally dictate the acting winners.

Lena Headey hasn't got an Emmy for Game of Thrones????? Emmys you need to win her right now!!

The producers spent the whole year trying to keep the ceremony shortest as possible. They wouldn’t lose a chance to save 3 minutes when someone they invited refused. But there were talks even Bob Iger got involved in getting Kendrick to the ceremony but they really didn’t want to go anywhere this award season

That’s cute coming from someone who has been bitching about everything this season. You deal first.

Crawl back under your troll hole first.

One interesting thing about this season is that 3/4 of the acting wins were for LGBT characters.

Olivia Colman is actually the third actress to win an Lead Actress Oscar for playing a queen, following The Lion in Winter’s Katharine Hepburn and The Queen’s Helen Mirren.

Of course, just like the Grammy’s, the Oscar’s ratings rise a bit thanks to Gaga:

It kinda deserved to go down…

But damn, just noticed Ellen’s year got the highest rating in the last 18 years? Pretty impressive.

And none of them died at the end of the film.

Just realized that BAFTA gets to keep it’s getting BP wrong streak alive. They are pretty much the most irrelevant precursor out there lol

With the triumph of Green Book over Roma the Academy assumed the very same position of the tv Academy when the crappy series The Practice beat The Sopranos because of the purist rejected cable tv but changes happens whether you like it or not and today broadcast tv winners at the Emmy are now a thing of the past.

For Your Emmy Consideration: Best Comedy Series Sex Education, Comedy Lead Actor Asa Butterfield, Comedy Supporting Actress Guillian Anderson, Drama Supporting Actress Miranda Otto for The Chilling Adventure of Sabrina.

With the only exception of the incomprehensible win of Boyhood the Bafta has better taste in movies than Ampas has.
