Honestly if they had his widow show up just for that bull, then f*** the academy for that. Regardless of what you might think about who deserved to win, that would be screwed up

They don’t know ahead of time. Only PW knows, and they could be in big legal trouble if they divulge the results before the ceremony.

Come on, we all know how this works. Nothing is guaranteed. Boseman’s family came to honor his legacy and the recognition he received with an Oscar nom. They weren’t invited just for some rug pull drama.

At the end, the awards season reflected what 2020 was, messy and wild af.

THIS!!! What a trashy end to a garbage year.

I mean they legit  tried to end this show on a feel good moment and failed so hard. Good job Stephen.

Also – we can’t let the chaos of the finale overshadow the horrific In Memoriam segment either. The final third of that show was a disaster on a quite remarkable scale.

That In memoriam was way more offensive to Chadwick then Anthony winning a Best Actor instead of him.

Honestly, the most egregious win was the painfully ugly Mank beating the gorgeous Nomadland in Cinematography.

Emmy FYC!!: Chloe Sevigny (We Are Who We Are), MJ Rodriguez (Pose), Billy Porter (Pose), Emma Corrin (The Crown), Elisabeth Moss (The Handmaid’s Tale), Maya Erskine (Pen15), Anna Konkle (Pen15), Naomi Ackie (Master of None), Thuso Mbedu (The Underground Railroad), Kate Winslet (Mare of Easttown), Michaela Coel (I May Destroy You)

I dont want to hear it. Theres no reason that the director couldnt have got a heads up ahead of time to avoid the awkwardness

Not trying to be rude but the biggest losers are :

    – Glenn Close (8-0)
    – Diane Warren (12-0)

Chadwick’s wife must have left the show mad as f*ck.

The way Netflix didn’t win a single above the line category, unlike last year. Oof.

In the end they voted for the performances they liked the most

The producers are clowns for not presenting Best Picture in the end just because they thought Boseman would win
