    18/23.
I changed Hopkins to Boseman at the last minute.

It’s just me, or the BAFTA predicted 18 out of 19 categories ?

They really gave an Oscar to HER (I don’t understand how this girl keeps winning awards) and then turned around and snubbed Viola and Chadwick in favor of Frances and Anthony Hopkins. What an awful ending to this awards season.

    I believe I got 18/23, that’s not terrible right?

Hopefully the overdue card can help Glenn in the next ceremony. Imagine she wins Oscars for that trash movie

She needs a movie that gets a ton of nominations. That’s the only way she becomes truly competitive. She wasn’t winning for Hillbilly Elegy, not against that competition.

Everyone is being so rude and nasty here and on Twitter, I did not like that they left Lead Acting for last, but everyone is talking like we are supposed to start a riot for “the disrespect towards Chadwick and his family”.

His win was never secure, the overreactions are so unnecessary and mean intended, we knew Hopkins had a big shot and I even put my 500 bet on him, so don’t create this drama that doesn’t exist just because they didn’t give the Oscar the a man who died, he won three awards, isn’t that enough?

Personal feelings aside, is this the best acting quartet… ever?

I can’t believe Joaquin didn’t say SIR Anthony Hopkins.

Frances is now the third person ever to win three lead acting awards. The first was Katharine Hepburn in 1968 and the second was Daniel Day-Lewis in 2012.

Hopefully McDormand’s win at least shows a shift towards Actress going towards performances in GOOD movies again.

Nope! The 2008 quartet (Day-Lewis, Cottilard, Bardem, Swinton) is still better.

Somehow I came in at #20 for this award and I just wanna say that this is what you get after having to endure the prediction nightmare that are the Grammys for the past five years.

MONTERO (Call Me By Your Name) - ROTY, SOTY, Best Pop Solo Perf., Best Music Video
INDUSTRY BABY - Best Melodic Rap Perf., Best Rap Song

Frances McDormand not only has more Oscars than Meryl Streep, but also won more in a quicker amount  of time than Meryl. That’s insane.

People: We want the Academy to vote for the best performance!

The Academy: Votes for the best performance

    People: We don’t like it!

Ha ha, your quote is spot on. We really should not complain about the Oscars being predictable and boring and then immediately complain when we get a few surprises/shocks thrown our away. Considering how stale and predictable the Oscars normally are, I am always hoping for a few upsets each ceremony. And I am happy I got my wish.

Personally I would not have voted for McDormand(my vote would have gone to Mulligan), I cannot say either her or Hopkins wins were truly horrible wins.
