Anthony Hopkins is one of the most deserving winners and I’m glad he won, however the decision to rearrange the ceremony and announce picture before the acting winners and have actor last was terrible.

It’s obvious they thought Chadwick Boseman would win and they thought it would be a big sentimental moment but all it did was diminish Anthony’s win and leave everybody confused.

I am disappointed in Twitter. Not the people but the media companies. There isn’t much noise from the people (there is some) regarding Hopkins winning but the different media companies are trying to stir the pot. I hate them.

I am happy Anthony Hopkins won his deserved Oscar. It was not an easy list. I still think Chadwick was solid, but I’m glad voters went with their hearts and chose who they thought was best.

I also found the ceremony to be a little tacky. The way the titles popped up on screen in those random pinks and how they tried to embarrass Glenn Close- and she GAVE it right back to them! I loved it! But it was an odd ceremony for sure.

Anyways congrats to the winners.

Hopkins was my favorite, but I can’t deny I have mixed feelings about his win.

Career awards happen every year over more memorable performances, but now that a career win was denied for a deceased black man, people argue the Oscars are about merit.
