Also I agree about people acting like Academy members have some conspiracy.

saying bale and adams missed because the genre of their film didn’t appeal to the acting branch isn’t pretending academy voters have some conspiracy

That’s besides the point. What you’re saying essentially amounts to “they didn’t get nominated because they didn’t get nominated” which is meaningless. The fact that people didn’t vote for them is not the reason for them not getting votes…
