I don’t know.. and Amy Adams (The Woman In The Window) is delayed by Netflix

    Good riddance.

Would be funny though if that ended up actually being good and Adams’ win competitive film when Hillbilly Elegy isn’t.

FYC OSCARS : PROMISING YOUNG WOMAN IN ALL CATEGORIES (ESP. ACTRESS – Carey Mulligan AND ORIGINAL SCREENPLAY — EMERALD FENNELL), VANESSA KIRBY FOR "PIECES OF A WOMAN", ESSIE DAVIS FOR "BABYTEETH"

I want Meryl to hit some precursors and still miss the Oscars. It has happened to many others. Let Meryl get that treatment too. She’s an acting God and I love her, but other actresses should be in the spotlight too.

    FYC:

Riz Ahmed- Best Actor for Sound Of Metal
Daniel Kaluuya - Best Supporting Actor for Judas and the Black Messiah
Amanda Seyfried - Best Supporting Actress for Mank

    1. Viola Davis, Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom
    2. Frances McDormand, Nomadland
    3. Vanessa Kirby, Pieces of a Woman
    4. Andra Day, The United States vs. Billie Holliday
    5. Meryl Streep, Let Them All Talk

Amy Adams performance in Hillbilly Elegy gets better and better on every viewing. Her scene in the motel room is FANTASTIC.

I think she was better than Close. But they both don’t deserve any nominations

She’s had that treatment multiple times actually.

So “The Prom” managed to get mostly good reactions…

Yeah, it’s happening at the Globes…and Streep is getting good notices. I expect her to be more acclaimed for “Let them all talk”, but she is a sure bet in the Globes for “The Prom”…she could maybe pull off an unexpected win for LTAT…this movie will be HBO only priority…

I know I haven’t seen any of them, but Let Them All Talk looks boring and mediocre. The Prom at least looks like it’s a lot of fun. I prefer the little notice of Streep I saw in The Prom trailers than the long talking one I saw in Let Them All Talk

    Viola Davis

    Vanessa Kirby

    Frances Mcdormand

    Carey Mulligan

    Andra Day

Streep only enters if Andra’s film is not well received.

Good for her. If it’s released it would only secure her razzie considering all the tea that it’s awful.

    Viola Davis
    Frances McDormand
    Vanessa Kirby
    Meryl Streep
    Kate Winslet

I am pretty confident about these five because you just couldn’t bid against Meryl Streep and Kate Winslet. You just couldn’t.
