Carey Mulligan is winning the Comedy Globe. Keep underestimating her for a nomination at your own peril.

FYC OSCARS : VANESSA KIRBY FOR "PIECES OF A WOMAN", GLENN CLOSE FOR "HILLBILLY ELEGY", ANTHONY HOPKINS FOR "THE FATHER", CHADWICK BOSEMAN FOR "MA RAINEY'S BLACK BOTTOM", PROMISING YOUNG WOMAN (BEST ORIGINAL SCREENPLAY).

After the reviews for French Exit, I don’t think anyone is…

It’s so hard to believe that Carey only has one nom which came like a decade ago. She is truly one of the most underrated actresses working right now.

Wait when did Chris confirm Colman is in supporting? Must have missed that – the last I saw was his update that she was shifted (from just supporting) to both lead and supporting cause her placement is unknown

They’ve been busy nominating lesser actresses such as JLaw, Ronan, Robbie and Stone.

I consider Carey to be in that same conversation as Portman and Adams if I’m being honest. She just doesn’t get the opportunities they do and when she does (‘Wildlife’) she still gets ignored.

If Carey gets nominated for every american precursor, she’s definitely getting in at the BAFTAs. She’s british, she’s a previous BAFTA winner (in this category) and her movie is directed and written by a fellow brit.

Completely overlooked this fact, thank you! I’ll put her in for that.
