<p style=”text-align: left;”>Zendaya was already there for Euphoria in the summer, so I don’t know if they’ll have her now. I guess we’ll see very soon!

She was on TV actors on actors series with MJ Rodriguez…January 19, 2021 at 10:29 am #1203991466With regards to Frances I fully respect her no campaigning policy. That’s not to shade any other performers for campaigning (which I am honestly fine with) but McDormand strikes me as someone who is really dedicated to the art instead of the benefits of the art (awards, fame) and I fully respect that for someone of her status.
FYC OSCARS : PROMISING YOUNG WOMAN IN ALL CATEGORIES (ESP. ACTRESS – Carey Mulligan AND ORIGINAL SCREENPLAY — EMERALD FENNELL), VANESSA KIRBY FOR "PIECES OF A WOMAN", ESSIE DAVIS FOR "BABYTEETH"

Ironic considering she could soon become the Actress with the most Best Actress wins: if not this year, then somewhere down the road.

January 19, 2021 at 10:34 am #1203991486Hepburn’s record will never be surpassed. I don’t see anyone ever winning FIVE Best Actress Oscars
Streep and McDormand are competitive for a 3rd one before the end of their careers but five is simply out of reach for anyone

Like Joaquin Phoenix last year. Although he did campaign a bit.

Blanchett only has one Best Actress so she’s faaar from it. Swank is closer than her lmao

Best Cinematography - NomadlandJanuary 19, 2021 at 10:39 am #1203991512Never say never. If Blanchitto wins a third this decade she could very well go to five. She still has a very long career ahead of her. As I also just said I think with the rate McDormand is working she’ll get to four by the end of her career. Sooner than Blanchett.
She needs to win a second first
Also worth noting that Hepburn’s record was pure luck. She was literally one vote away from losing for Lion In Winter (she 100% deserved tho)

Her career was always pretty dry even with the 2 Best Actress wins tho I thought she deserved more recognition for The Homesman tbh. I think she did some tv work so hopefully that takes off so her Emmy days start
