If you take a quick look at imdb votes, you’ll see that I Care a Lot is a more watched movie than most of the Oscar contenders this year.
Cool, so I hope Pike gets a People’s Choice Award, not an Oscar.
#12 for 2021 SAG Film Award Winners.
February 28, 2021 at 11:42 am #1204067369I think the Globes may try to make up for the controversy surrounding their names and award Viola and Chadwick (not saying they would not make worthy winners). Even without the controversy, I still have Viola as #1 for the Globes.
Voting was over before this controversy was brought up.

Once again, putting words in my mouth. I never said I hated the movie. I think it was fine. Not a comedy, btw. Nothing groundbreaking.
What’s hilarious is people thinking this should win Best Picture and get nominated for a ton of Oscars.

It’s the Globes. They can change anything.

How do people on here follow awards and not know how they work? An awards ceremony as big as the Globes is audited by an accounting firm. They quite literally can’t change anything.

You must be mistaking my for someone else, I can’t remember replying to you before/putting words in your mouth.
And I’ve not heard anyone say this movie deserves to win Best Picture etc…

Unless it is Law that they cannot change anything, I won’t put it past them. Hollywood is a wicked town and when the powerful want something, they normally get it.
I am, however, not saying you are wrong. I just do not trust them.

I wish Dinklage was a potential spoiler in Sp. Actor 😞
👑Cicely Tyson (1924-2021)
👑Mary Wilson (1944-2021)February 28, 2021 at 12:23 pm #1204067521Chadwick losing doesn’t increase Viola’s chances, it only solidifies the fact that they just didn’t like Ma Rainey.
Exactly.
February 28, 2021 at 12:23 pm #1204067523Not saying that Globes aren’t shady, but the organization that gave Best Picture Drama to a film directed by Bryan fucking Singer tells me that they don’t give a single shit about backlash
Oscar winners Emerald Fennell Daniel Kaluuya and Youn Yuh-jung
