Speaking of SAG, if it was only actors voting Vanessa would have won in a cakewalk. There’s so much passion for her performance within acting community but because it’s mostly radio djs, waiters and influencers voting these days I expect Carey to take it. They love her and PYW.

Not so sure about that first part. Carey’s performance is a lot of actors’ dream. Even with my limited experience in theater, I can vouch for foe people who would kill for a role like that. Plus, I have to imagine that actors who’ve seen Carey’s other work will be blown away by the fact that she pulled off a performance so wildly different from anything else she’s ever done in a movie that has a hell of a lot of passion

I don’t think anybody is a PYW hater but mulligan fans are very insecure and some NOT ALL OF YOU say racist and questionable remarks lmao her film has enough Oscar noms to the point if she wins sag its a done deal lol.But Kirby and Viola could win sag so maybe that’s why yall are acting like this cause while its a good performance nothing special so sag could go for a theatrical performance like Davis in Ma Rainey or A grieving mother with that baity opening scene Kirby in Pieces of a women. Mulligan winning would probably be from the waiters in djs actors She in 3rd place behind davis and Kirby.

I liked Billie Holliday better than Pieces of a woman. The truth is andras performance held me in so i forget about the lifetime movie vibes and lowbudget lee daniels script and directing.Something is off about kirbys movie its slow and had some scenes that could have been cut and other issues. The way yall drag billie holldiay when Kirby movie average script and direction wise also NOT THE BIRTH SCENCE THE PIECES OF A WOMAN DIRECTOR ATE THAT SCENCE BUT THATS IT other then than not a good movie.

Well there’s a good movie to be found in Billie holiday if its a good movie to be found in pieces of a woman cause Both Kibry and Andra are the only Major highlights about there movie and the pieces of the woman script is very average. It was messy but with his bad script lee Daniels gave us atleast a plot pieces of a woman to me was a character study on kirbys character.
