Hey guys! I go with Andra Day on my final bet (although I am not very confident about it), it is my favorite performance and after seeing so many interviews and musical performances by Andra, I created a great affection for her, so sweet, gentle and funny

Even if she doesn’t win, I thank the award season for introducing me to an artist as talented as she is, I hope she has other chances to prove her talent, the twitter film seems to dislike it for free, her film may not be wonderful but it is a prize of ACTING and she did it sublime.

    Well, whoever wins, deserves it!

In order to add a post for us to get closer to the 50th thread, I just want to give a shout-out to performances I wish had gained more traction this season: Nicole Beharie, MISS JUNETEENTH Jasna Duricic, QUO VADIS, AIDA? Sidney Flanigan, NEVER RARELY SOMETIMES ALWAYS Julia Garner, THE ASSISTANT Aubrey Plaza, BLACK BEAR

Jessie Buckley in I’m Thinking of Ending Things

How did I forget about Radha Blank?!?! Yes, she’s definitely worthy of a mention as is Morfydd Clark (as pointed out above) and Wunmi Mosaku.

I have not seen Bukky Bukray yet.

    Good idea.

My shout outs would be for Carrie Coon in The Nest, and Vitalina Varela in (of course) Vitalina Varela.

I have a copy of Vitalina Varela to watch and sadly I began THE NEST but had to stop it like 25 minutes in so I’m anxious to get back to it soon.

I love how the Viola fan club take everything so personal. Cough cough 7-Eleven and Luca. Honey Chile we have to laugh. Take a chill pill Huns. “How dare anyone criticize the black Meryl Streep Omg!.” If Lil Tony doesn’t like her, he has the right to express his dislike for her.

It’s considered lucky in America which is where the Oscars are held so we’re good.
