I think First Cow is going make it to Screenplay. People were talking about that 1 movie that has no other nominations but gets Screenplay- I think that’s FC.

I’ve had him in for a while. Ma Rainey could very well be the most nominated film this year especially if Mank under-performs.

The reactions seem to be positive or at least favourable, but there is no overwhelming praise. I think the craft might be nomination worthy, but one should wait until the reviews are out before fully writing it off.
