I like that when PYW gets snubbed in a category “it was never expected to get in!”, but if it gets noms elsewhere it is a “juggernaut”.

Never forget Hillbilly Elegy got more SAG noms than the “juggernaut” PYW.

Bombshell had the most SAG nominations last year. Did it have the most nominations at the Oscars?

Curious, I wonder if Kathy would’ve gotten in over Nicole Kidman in SAG if they didn’t flub the paperwork for Richard Jewell

Judas was great. It sucks that people don’t seem to really care about it.

After finally having seen Judas, the snubs at Globes, CC and BAFTA longlists couldn’t get more painful and egregious. Should be ideally winning Best Picture, hands down.

At this point, I truly cannot imagine how the rest of the major guilds will respond to this, and that’s unfortunate, to say the least. Here’s praying for a WGA win, if literally nothing else.

Do love that Judas and Minari, the two most horrendously snubbed films at the Globes, are released on the same day. Let the hype train build up even more for both.

The hype is real. Judas is great. Exciting, powerful, daring. And very entertaining. The writing is great, the perfomances are fantastic. Shaka King needs to became a big name after this. It embraces the complexity of its historic events and characters instead of sanitizing them for awards chances, unlike certain movie that covers the same time period…

Maybe too radical for some voters? But probably the reason of its underperfomance so far is the late release + Warner boycott, a fatal combo. Really hoping that overcomes all of that and gets Best Picture and Original Screenplay nominations.

I have Judas in my #1 for the GD awards for King, BP, Kaluuya, and screenplay. Glad to see so much love for it here from people who consistently have 10/10 taste. I hope more will watch now and fall in love with it because it’s the best film of the season.

Please check out The Mauritanian. Excellent movie and great acting across the board. This needs to be a Best Picture nominee.

    My JATBM…..

I rooted for it so hard and then all I got is GG and BAFTA snubs….

Judas is obviously way better than Ma Rainey,  Mank, ONIM, and D5B.

The fact that News of the World got more buzz than Judas last week….

    I’m heartbroken.

JUDAS could still make a comeback at PGA/DGA/WGA…but I also say that as someone who feels like it would be ridiculous if they keep snubbing it.

I thought it was really great and I think Shaka King deserves to get Director/Screenplay noms.

I would even go as far to say it has my personal vote for Best Picture at this point.
