Chicago has Netflix bias and couldn’t get nominations for its lead actor anywhere unlike Birdman. Birdman was also a movie celebrating Hollywood and Chicago is some neoliberal revisionist history nonsense.

    ?

Everyone is submitted in supporting for chicago 7?

Phrased it poorly perhaps if the film could have secured both nominations for Rylance and Cohen in an extremely weak supporting actor year I would be taking it more seriously.

You must be a satire account. Like literally last year, the person who won GG/BAFTA/DGA didnt win best director oscar lol Your meltdowns have been giving me life tho lol

So Promising Young Woman is out and McDormand has zero chance at a win as result of them not being awarded at the Globes but Close and Sorkin are going to win because “these foreign journalists and precursors have no influence over the Oscars”.

FYC: All things The Crown, Hacks and I May Destroy You (and Hannah Waddingham and Julianne Nicholson whilst you're at it)!!

When I said Nomadland was winning everything, I didn’t meant it’s winning Actress of Editing, I meant it’s winning the Critics Choice, PGA, BAFTA and then the Oscar.

I genuinely hope it does not win Best Film at BAFTA because my heart cannot handle another such victim of the BAFTA curse that gets robbed at the Oscars, ESPECIALLY a film such as this.

    Nomadland > Trial 7

Globes made the right decision. Now let’s hope Oscars follow suit.

I didn’t know she was a producer wtf

Yuppers and you can thank the Spirit Awards for making it happen. If you watch McDormands speech for 3 Billboards, she says something about a deal between her and Chloe

I think Emerald Fennell is still gonna show up at DGA and PYW at PGA, even if I’m among those who think she’ll miss BD at Oscars.

Did they move DGA? I thought they’re announcing on the 9th

You mean Best First Time Director at DGA, right?
