Other than the Bakalova fans, I think everyone else is rooting for Youn which is amazing to see.

It’s hard not to root for her when history is being made.

I’m a Bakalova fan rooting for Youn. Either of them would make for great winners and I’m glad they’re both being recognized.

What a wonderful moment at last night’s SAG award when Youn Yuh-jung was announced best supporting actress – her acceptance was priceless. If I was a betting man, I would put my money on Youn winning the Oscar. But, these supporting categories at the Academy Awards can still surprise.

I’m not counting out Bakalova or Glenn Close. Bakalova because she seems to have quite a bit of support and Close because I think there are quite a few Oscar voters who want to finally give Close the award. The question is will it be enough? I don’t think so and I think that helps Yuh-jung. And the fact that her performance is so much better. I expect to hear either Yuh-jung or Bakalova’s name called on Oscar night – I’m hoping my ears hear “and the Oscar goes to Youn Yuh-jung.”

It is possible to be happy for either performance to win you know.

This! People act like awards shows are a game of football.

True movie lovers are those who have their own favourites but are wise enough to not trash other excellent performances on the basis that they won awards over their favourites.
