The overdue narrative is nothing and Borat Subsequent Moviefilm is a stronger contender.

Okay so at best she is 3rd? I guess what I am trying to say is that with Bakalova losing AACTA, BAFTA and SAG, there is no way I can see her win the Oscar for a performance that already was difficult to win for. At least with Glenn, I can see a chance (albeit an incredibly small one) that she gets votes for being overdue?

I do think both Close and Bakalova are quite interchangeable, and only Colman feels like she can pose a challenge to Youn.

A bit sad for Bakalova, but hey her nomination alone is iconic. She’s my winner but Youn also would be a good choice.

only Colman feels like she can pose a challenge to Youn.

Which is hard in itself because how often does an actress win Lead and then win Supporting shortly after? That’s why I am convinced that Youn is the runaway winner at this point. So much goodwill for her right now, and that’s right after the Parasite sweep, too.

I don’t think Youn meant to say british people are snobs, I think she got lost in translation. Apparently what she tried to say was that british people are well known for being very proud.

It's about the chaotic editing in Moulin Rouge!

This race had me really scared for a second but I’m confident saying Youn has it now.

Glenn’s chances at a win died back in November 2020.
