If close wins it’ll be one of the worst overdue narrative ever. Does anybody really want close to win for a movie with a 30 on metacritic? That like a slap to her legacy

I agree. It’s like when Annette Bening was gaining traction for The Report after her Globe nomination when it crystal clear at that point she had no chance of winning and it was Dern vs Lopez.

Close getting anywhere / anything for HE if she isn’t winning is just cruel.

Now that Close is panned, those actually left after Seyfried & Colman?

Balakovo? Collette? Cooke? Goldsberry? Lyonne? Yuh-yung?

Glenn isn’t panned. In fact she’s the most acclaimed part of it. Or maybe the only thing…

I would probably say Burstyn, Zengel and Yuh-yung.

For the love of God, don’t let this be Glenn’s Oscar. This would be an injustice on the scale of Al Pacino’s Oscar being Scent of a Woman.

I’m team Amanda Seyfried because I like Mamma Mia and hate Ron Howard.

    Now that Close is panned

Her movie is panned, not her.
