Wait people think Close is locked for a film with 27% RT and which has been given the worst of Netflix’s winter release dates? When did this stop being a predictions site?
November 24, 2020 at 3:54 am #1203860453I feel like it’s quite clear that Netflix is pushing Seyfried and Burstyn more. And I say this as a Glenn stan (although one who admittedly is now rooting for Seyfried).

We love to see the only actress with both Gotham and Sunset nominations.
November 24, 2020 at 7:52 am #1203861460The way that people have deluded themselves into thinking a 40 MC and 20% RT score doesn’t mean anything…
One of the most severe case of blind stanning I’ve seen on this site.
November 24, 2020 at 8:00 am #1203861503I really don’t understand how so many people can blindly stan Flopbilly Elegy when it has such godawful reviews and say “cRiTiC’s DoN’t MaTtEr” when they absolutely fucking do. Maybe, MAYBE Glenn Close barely gets a nomination since the competition in this category is so weak, but I think that’s about the best this film can hope for.
Oh, and it’ll get a Makeup nom because they don’t care about quality.

Wow. I didn’t expect that shade from Glenn, even over a race she wasn’t competing in. Not judging but it seems out of character for her.
