All the Beauty and the Bloodshed, My Name Is Alfred Hitchcock, and Sidney are three that instantly come to mind.

The only documentary I’m familiar with this year is What Is a Woman?, and there’s no way that one’s getting nominated (unless they want to open a HUGE can of worms).

Fire of Love is definitely a contender. I would also add:

    Navalny
    Moonage Daydream
    Personality Crisis: One Night Only
    Loudmouth
    The Princess
    All That Breathes
    The Janes
    Riotsville, USA
    Elizabeth
    The Exiles
    The Territory
    Aftershock

Dumb question maybe, and I know it would never have gotten nominated, but does anybody know why Jackass Forever isn’t even eligible?

    For Your Consideration:
The Banshees of Inisherin in ALL categories, including:
    - Best Picture
    - Best Director
    - Best Actor (Colin Farrell)
    - Best Supporting Actor (Brendan Gleeson)
    - Best Supporting Actor (Barry Keoghan)
    - Best Supporting Actress (Kerry Condon)
    - Best Supporting Actress (Sheila Flitton)
    - Best Original Screenplay

None of the frontrunners are particularly interesting subjects this year. In the last few years it’s been such an exciting category both in subject and presentation, one I have looked forward to a lot. 🤷‍♀️

    Here for the comedies
