See why Oscar might call out Bradley Cooper's name next in this exclusive Licorice Pizza clip to highlight today's #SAGAwards nomination.

Sarcasm. Whoever is running Fandango’s account is a Bradley stan I guess. Because they can’t seriously think that clip is Oscar worthy.
January 17, 2022 at 8:51 pm #1204735108Yeah, that’s probably the worst clip they could have picked, he’s not even in it for the first minute. Anyway, Cooper in Licorice Pizza is too much in one-note territory. He already did a better 70’s era performance in American Hustle. More pathos there.
SAG is often into these simpleton comedic performances, but not the Academy so much. His in-depth, soul-searching performance in Nightmare Alley is what more real actors will gravitate towards. Although supporting actor is very weak this year…
January 18, 2022 at 12:04 am #1204735285Just for fun, if there were a Tommy Lee Jones in The Valley of Elah situation this year and someone completely random surprised in that 5th spot, who do you think it’d be?

He’s a veteran, and he got a satellite nod this year, which was basically all Tommy Lee Jones had leading up to the ’08 Oscars.
I hope the academy doesn’t force me to watch Cry Macho by nominating Clint Eastwood.

Oh thank goodness
January 18, 2022 at 2:33 am #12047353491. Will Smith, King Richard
2. Benedict Cumberbatch, The Power of the Dog
3. Andrew Garfield, tick, tick…BOOM!
4. Denzel Washington, The Tragedy of Macbeth
5. Leonardo DiCaprio, Don’t Look UpJanuary 18, 2022 at 2:40 am #1204735351Oh my god, amazing performance! Now I get why the Oscars might call out his name. I’m blown away
Academy, please nominate Bradley Cooper not to nominate Jared Leto.
January 18, 2022 at 4:46 am #12047354311. Will Smith
2. Benedict Cumberbatch
3. Andrew Garfield
4. Denzel WashingtonFifth spot is between DiCaprio and Bardem, and the former has the advantage of being in the second biggest Netflix movie of all time, having a very well received superb against type performance, and being in a likely BP nominee.
January 18, 2022 at 4:59 am #1204735445The fact that DiCaprio couldn’t get in at SAG is insane. I think he’s done.
